Workshop

John Thorburn & Sons have a 12000 sq feet workshop equipped with modern lathes, milling machines, a shear and a press brake and other fabrication machinery which ensures that the workmanship produced is nothing less than first class.

With over 50 years in business we have the knowledge to undertake all fabrication work whether agricultural, industrial or commercial, in steel, aluminium or stainless steel, from simple welding to precision fabrication projects we feel confident that we have the skill to handle work in an efficient and cost effective manner.

Steel Bodies

Our steel and aluminium bodies are manufactured to a high standard with a strong design allowing the best possible strength-to-weight ratio and good abrasion/impact resistance. All seams are fully welded to prevent water and spoil penetration sections causing corrosion. Our bodies are built with no compromise, being bought by contractors because of their design, build, quality and cost effectiveness.
